Welcome to month 2. I hope the tips in month 1 were helpful. Let’s get month 2 started off on a positive note.
It’s been an incredibly long winter! I don’t know about any of you, but I tend to get the “blues” during the cold, dark days of winter. One of the best ways to get rid of those “blues” is to release those wonderful chemicals in our bodies called endorphins.
Goals – Since we are focusing on fitness, let’s set the goal for this month to move our bodies. Even if it’s a 5 minute walk down the block once a day or using the resistance bands and the video on the blog from Month 1. Each day write down what you accomplished. This simple task will help keep you accountable for your daily workout.
Gratefulness – Spring has sprung. Each morning this month, wake up thinking of something on this glorious Earth that makes you happy and you are grateful for. Sometimes it’s the small things that add to our attitude for the day – a bird chirping, the sun shine, a child riding their bike in front of your house – you get the picture.
